I’ve never been one to fit neatly into the mold … and honestly, I stopped trying a long time ago.
For more than a decade, I dreamed of creating a therapy practice that reflected not only how I believe healing happens, but also who I am. I didn’t want another cookie-cutter practice that felt clinical, transactional, or impersonal. I wanted to create a place where evidence-based care and authentic human connection could exist side by side.
NOVA is the realization of that dream. It’s a boutique psychotherapy practice that bridges clinical expertise with the warmth and comfort of your grandma’s living room – a place where you can exhale, feel genuinely seen, and know you don’t have to have it all together.
Therapy Designed for Authentic Healing and Long-Term Wellness
We believe the best therapy doesn’t happen because someone has all the answers – it happens because you finally find a place where you feel safe enough to ask the questions.
At NOVA, we’ve intentionally created a highly relational, boutique psychotherapy practice that honors the whole person. By integrating evidence-based care with a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection, we tailor every therapeutic experience to the unique story, strengths, and goals of each individual we serve.
Here, healing isn’t transactional. It’s collaborative, deeply personal, and grounded in authentic connection.
Trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, move through relationships, experience safety, and respond to the world around us. At NOVA, we recognize that many emotional struggles are rooted not simply in symptoms, but in lived experiences, survival responses, nervous system overwhelm, and patterns developed to cope with difficult or painful circumstances.
Our work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach that honors each individual’s story while creating space for deeper healing and self-understanding. We support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, military and first responder experiences, MST (Military Sexual Trauma), complex childhood trauma, relationship wounds, identity shifts, and major life transitions.
NOVA collaborates with Gilbert Police Department as a provider through the T.I.G.E.R. Act, supporting first responders, military members, veterans, and individuals navigating the emotional impact of high-stress and trauma-exposed environments with compassion, understanding, and specialized trauma-informed care.
Using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and nervous system-focused interventions, our goal is not simply symptom reduction but helping clients reconnect with themselves beyond survival patterns and past experiences.
Wherever you find yourself in your healing journey, we strive to meet you with compassion, genuineness, and care that honors both your resilience and your story.
