Opening up to someone you've never met can feel intimidating. We understand that. Choosing a therapist is deeply personal. It requires trust, vulnerability, and the willingness to share parts of your story that may have been carried quietly for years. We believe uncertainty shouldn't be another barrier to healing. That's why transparency is part of the NOVA experience from the very beginning—so you have the information you need to make an informed decision and determine whether NOVA feels like the right fit for your story.
The NOVA Experience - Where Healing Begins with Human Connection
Come as you are.
There's no need to prepare the "right" story or know exactly where to begin. We'll simply start where you are, get to know what matters most to you, and create a path forward together.
Progress, not perfection.
Some seasons of therapy ask us to slow down. Others ask us to lean in. Sessions are typically weekly or biweekly and adjust as your needs change, always honoring your pace and your goals.
More than talking.
Some days you'll leave feeling lighter. Other days you may leave with new questions, deeper insight, or emotions you've never had space to explore. Both are part of meaningful healing. Therapy isn't about having all the answers – it's about creating enough safety to begin asking different questions.
NOVA currently accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Aetna. If we are not in network with your insurance provider, we are happy to provide a superbill that you may submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Licensed Clinicians
Fees vary based on the provider’s licensure, experience, and specialized training.
Our Master’s Level Clinical Interns are carefully selected pre-licensed professionals who provide compassionate, evidence-based care while receiving ongoing supervision from NOVA’s Clinical Director.
NOVA proudly offers a discounted rate of $120 per individual session for active-duty military members and veterans.
For additional information regarding fees, insurance, or finding the provider that’s the best fit for your needs, please contact our office.
For your convenience and accessibility, we offer secure and confidential telehealth sessions to clients located anywhere in Arizona.
We accept major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards for your ease of payment.
Under the “No Surprise Act” practitioners are required to provide clients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for services.
At NOVA Psychotherapy Services, we work from a place of transparency regarding the cost of therapy sessions.
Due to the individualized nature of psychotherapy services, the therapist and the client collaborate together on the length of treatment and overall care, and the expected cost of services.
